Alex and I were cooking along about 80 mph and my radar detector went off. | Too late! Tennessee Trooper parked in the middle, made a U turn & came after us. He passed Me and got Alex. | The trooper gave Alex a ticket and after Al and I had a Cracker Barrel lunch we got on the road just in time to see the HR tour bus. |

Bristol, Tennessee at last! Cloudy weather again but it was brief showers. | Entering in we were guided to our designated parking areas for the days events. Drag Racing!! | This place is HUGE! There are two tracks on the grounds. One for Drag Racing and the other for oval type events. |

We try to find a spot near the center so we don't have to walk so far to punch in this time. We were fortunate. | Alex got this shot when he climbed up a small mountain. He seems to enjoy heights as you can see. | Alex is busy on his cell phone. This guy has a bunch of people calling him for advice on cars and how to fix them all the time. |

This is the staging area where the cars are lined up for their turn to run. | It's difficult to appreciate these cars when there is no SOUND... awesome! | Even without the sound you know by the "smoke" what is taking place. POWER! |
