Heading for Kentucky and it looks like rain again. This time it stayed dry.We traveled over a lot of bridges, and this one was really interesting.Passing the MSD vendor trailer. The guys know us from past tours so we waved and drove on. We will see them in Tennessee.
Waiting at the car wash for our friend Tony Hahn and brother Terry. The Hahn brothers arrive in a classy Mustang and we follow to Tony's shop to check out their Mavericks.Tony & Terry live in Somerset, Kentucky where our fifth stop is located so we called them before we checked in at the grounds.
The Hahn's are really into Mavericks . Notice the 72 near the door ready for a fresh engine and paint in the future. The two tone Maverick belongs to Terry and has a really neat shaker hood along with a lot of other goodies.Tony lowered the lift and backed his very clean Maverick out so we could look it over and take some photos. Neat set up.
As you can see, Tony has ample power available and his engine compartment is one of the cleanest we've seen. Terry's Maverick also is really set up nicely. His car took best of show just recently at an important car event. This Comet belongs to a friend of the Hahns and he dropped in to show us his car also. This is a real "barn find".
Time to "check in" at the fifth stop so we worked our way to the grounds and discovered more "rain" as we were in the process of pulling in to park.We managed to find a great parking place near the main building which allowed us to get in out of the rain when it started. There were a lot of Ford fans at this stop and a lot of them were curious about our cars. The Grabber was more popular by far and people seemed to gravitate towards it.
